The Gig Economy
Illustration till en rapport om the Gig Economy utfört av Stockholms universitet. Hur man synliggör det osynliga i våra stadsmiljöer. Analog kontra digital. Skiftande, förändrande, flyttande och fluktuerande arbetskraft. Dessa var alla element som jag ville representera i min omslagsillustration om spelningsekonomin. Jag skulle ljuga om jag inte erkände att jag tillbringade flera timmar av fundering och långa promenader för att försöka komma till det väsentliga i hur man bäst representerar temat. Det är viktigt för mig att mina idéer är originella men samtidigt tydliga och lätta att förstå. Jag tyckte att ämnet var riktigt intressant och viktigt att studera. Hur förändrar detta våra samhällen idag? Våra beteenden? Jag hoppas att omslagsillustrationen kommer att vara inspirerande och väcka din nyfikenhet att vilja lära dig mer genom att läsa rapporten.

The Gig Economy
Illustration for a report on the Gig Economy carried out by Stockholm University. How to make the invisible visible in our urban environments. Analogue versus digital. Shifting, changing, moving and fluctuating labour. These were all elements that I wanted to represent in my cover illustration on the gig economy. I would be lying if I didn’t admit that I spent several hours of head-scratching and long walks trying to get to the essential of how to best represent the theme. It is important to me that my ideas are original but at the same time clear and easy to understand. I found the topic truly interesting, and an important one to study. How is this changing our societies today? Our behaviours? I hope that the cover illustration will be inspiring and arouse your curiosity to want to learn more by reading the report.
